How can i remember my dreams better? I often have dreams that end up coming true down to the last detail. Problem is that i forget the dream the moment that it comes true. I know that i have seen the situation before, i just can never remember what happens next. After the situation is over, I can remember exactly where the dream started and ended i just cant remember while it is happening. How can i memorize dreams longer and better?

How to memorize your dreams? I've gotten a new councelor and I've met with her once but she claims that she can interpret dreams. I don't doubt that she can, but she says that she wants me to try to remember the dreams that I have so that I can tell them to her and she can see what direction I need to head in I guess. Anyway, is there anything that a person can do to make them remember their dreams more or advice or something like that at all?

What do my recent dreams mean? I have been having strange dreams all week. Most of them have to do with running through schools (elementary, junior high, high, universities). In one I had to study for a major test, another I was memorizing lines for a play, and the third I was taking classes. In each one, towards the end of the dream, the major event was coming (the test, the play) and I was sitting next to my crush. He would turn to me and start talking, but I couldn't hear what we was saying. When I turned to him, I would wake up. What does this mean?

how to prove that I am not dreaming for my Philosophy essay? One thing that I can say is that watches do not work properly in dreams because they are constructed of memorized images (as the dream itself is) and not of physical, mechanical things. My dreams are always weird - what do you think of this one? First off, my dreams are always on the odd side. Parcially because they aren't broken up (despite their varying themes), parcially because.. well, I can only remember parts of them when I wake up. Here's the dream: "I" am standing in the middle of a trashed lot with a gun. Think old school arcade style, where you shot at the screen. I'm helping a team of operatives drive a bunch of werewolves back. It's really easy, all I have to do is memorize the short spawn pattern and keep on my toes. Two vampires surprise me by popping up (they look like Alucard of Hellsing). I shoot them, too, then run into the 'base' which is basically the only in-tact office in the area. I ask Integra (Hellsing again) for stakes, and she leans up and breaks the frame off a peaceful picture, handing me the shards. I stab the vampires in the heart, though I miss several times and get some blood on my jeans (which annoys me). Then I carry the vampire bodies with me in school all day.. weird, yes? Whatcha think? I realize it seems kind of shallow on the surface, and it might be, but I'd really like help interpreting these dreams. If it helps, I personally love vampires, that might affect what they stand for or however in my dream. Also, I was looking for a place to dump the bodies (I wandered around the school for a dumpster) but found none. I EAT RAW MEAT! - I probably play less video games than the average teenager, at any rate. And my dreams have NEVER had natrual settings (open fields, clouds, gardens, etc) - so they've NEVER been meaningful? I guess I understand what you mean with the video games, but considering my dreams have meant nothing my entire life is a -little- hard to believe. Also, I haven't had curry in a long time. That is a very interesting fact though.

I get these visions of words or dreams of things I just studied for school.? Let's say I just studied a textbook worth of terms, I would then lay down and close my eyes to rest or sleep and I would dream of the words or things I just read but my mind scrambles them up and makes up its own definitions. I try to wake up and when I do, I close my eyes and I'm back into that same dream/phase of scrambling up terms. Is something wrong with me? I get it a lot when I do mass reading and trying to memorize things.

How do I get girls to contribute to the conversation? Whenever I am talking to girls for some reason they dont really contribute to the conversation. I try to talk about anything that is interesting. Why do I have chain dreams? I have things I call "chain dreams", about thrice every month. Each chain dream is the equivalant of an 'episode' in a TV series almost. Where there is one over all plot, and dreams that fall under the plot. In one series of chain dreams, I own an amusement park and have to tackle different tasks every dream, such as fixing a broken ride, interviewing park visitors, covering a shift for an absent worker at one of the food stalls, etc. The amusement park never changes, and is always extremely detailed. I have had so many chain dreams in this amusement park that I've memorized where everything is, so I know where to go now once I figure out what I'm supposed to do in that specific dream in the chain. There are several others: one with a plot similiar to Survivor, one where my bestfriend's boyfriend (only in my dreams, this guy doesn't exist in real life. Or, we haven't met him, at least) has been killed in Iraq, another where my friends and I are traveling around the world in a giant, floating school located in the trunk of a large tree, and many, many others. I always remember all of my dreams, be they nightmares, regular dreams, or chain dreams. It also seems that in my chain dreams, there are two 'me's. One is my actually self, who is aware that I am dreaming at all times, and the other is my dream self is directly confronted with the plot and people in the dream. The dream me does not seem to be aware of the real me, but I can tune in my dream self's thoughts to try and figure out what I have to do in this dream. Any help? What are these dreams? Why are they connected? Is it something I should be concerned about?

calling harry potter fans who have memorized nearly every word of the books...? in harry potter, percy weasley keeps on being described as something, especially in the later books....it is like 'determined' or 'goal-oriented' and it means that you have many goals and dreams for yourself and will do alot to achieve them! i just cant think of the word right now! can you remember what it is?? Whats up with my dreams? This dream has like 3 parts so bare with me. So in the first part i'm part of a small group of people investigating ruins in a desert (the ruins look like the ones in the Halo 3 map Sandtrap and are made of stone like the pyramids). So we're working and stuff when one person is found dead. We try to find out who did it but the next day someone else died. So I'm walking along a dune and next to me the dune slopes down then theres a flat-topped ruin. I'm walking along the dune thinking about the murders when i suddenly get the feeling i'm being watched. I look across to the flat-topped ruin and theres a creature crouching there that looks like the Predator except it has much more advaced gear and it's mettalic and shiny looking. As soon as i see it it stands up and jumps across the gap and onto the dune. It filled me with such terror that i could hardly move. But then it drew it's spear and i turned around and started running. The thing followed me and tried to kill me. But suddenly i was looking at myself run from a angle but was still able to control my movements. Everytime it tried to stab me time slowed down and i dodged the stab then time speeded up again. It was freaky. I dodged like that for about a minute but i knew that evantually it would get me so i tried to run into a ruin. But i felt a cold feeling in my gut and when i looked down the things spear was in me. Then i fainted. When i woke up i was in a room with two other people i know in real life. One looked very sad and the other had the care free look that people that are high have. I asked the sad one what was going on and he told me that the alien was gone for know but would be back to kill us. And then he sat down in front of what looked like a black xbox 360, pushed the power button and a red laser shot into his eyes. Then he got the same look on his face as the other guy and sat back. I thought to myself theres no way i'm going to do that, its practically suicide. But then i thought to myself how the alien mercilessly hunted me down and so i sat in front of the xbox and looked into the red light. A feeling of complete bliss washed over me and i instantly stopped caring about everything. The alien came in with a monster that i can only describe as a spider with 6 foot tall legs and razor sharp teeth. The alien lifted me up and put me into the spiders mouth. Then i felt a kind of pressure on my sides and i realized the spider was eating me. With the realization came the feeling like the bliss was fading and that i'd start to feel the pain. So i buried the thoughts and let pressure push onto me until i faded off. Then i was standing somewhere else. I must have been on a hill and straight out in front of me in the distance was a mountain range. It was night out and the stars were out. I looked up admiring the view until i looked almost completely above me. There was the most breathtaking, beautiful thing i have ever seen. There was a planet like saturn shrouded in darkness except for a little bit, almost like a sun was rising on it. But i was more focused on the thing just beyond it. There, suspended in the sky was a spiral galaxy. There was so much detail in it, every single star was shining and they all blended together to make breathtaking colors that i cant even describe. After i took in the sight i noticed there was a planet moving towards the center of the galaxy. As soon as the planet made contact with the center, which looked like a ball of light, jagged lines of light spread across the planet, like it was cracking and lava was welling up in the cracks. Then the planet shattered and flew backwards from the galaxy and slowly dissapated into space. And then my dream ended. That last one was the best thing i have ever seen and right after i woke up i made sure i memorized every detail of it. Please help me i always have weird dreams but this one stood out It's hard to write paragraphs on an ipod. And it is pretty long

Is it possible to have prediction dreams? Apparently, a friend of mine is having dreams in which he will experience a detailed account of the coming day. I'm not sure whether I believe him. I'm a skeptic of such things, but he seems serious enough. Yesterday, he told me the answers for a test that we took today. I saved them to my computer, and when I got home I looked over the answers he gave me and compared them to what I got. They were right as far as I can remember. I was sure he found them on the teacher's desk and memorized them, but that doesn't really seem like something he would do. I'm planning on taking note of his dreams. Any time he has a "dream" like this, any time he tells me of a prediction of his, I'm going to take note of it, then check what really happened against what happened in his dream. Are prediction dreams that are this detailed really possible?

Why are dreams so inconsistent & seamless. wierd? LIke, in a dream, at 1 second you can be 8 years old at grampops house.........Then all of a sudden youare 18 at a party with a friend having some wierd discussion.....and it will seem COMPLETLY normal; this shift in time and situatuon (time/space)? How does this happen so mentaly seamlessly W/O us even slightly noticing it? That was just a random example, But hopefully enough 4 U 2 C my point! It is almost like another reality...exept where consistancy has NO hold on it. Like time/space, any laws of physics as they exist in this reality,natural restrictions, knowlegde of words to songs you never memorized, etc, etc. It is almost like another reality altogether. i keep having dreams about my boyfriend and his ex? i use to be really good friends with this girl at the beginning of the year.. i knew she had a thing with my current boyfriend a year ago and they had sex. ever since i started dating him things with her slowly died and we dont talk anymore cos it felt weird for me even tho she use to try to txt me here and there. ever since we've started dating this has been a huge issue for me. it just sort of disquist me and shes a slut. he said hes only had sex once so i take it she took his virginity which makes me more mad. i guess in a way u could say that im jealous because they are perfect for each other.. they have the exact same personalitites and do things the exact same ways and when im with him he reminds me of her. everything about them is identical. it really bugged me too because i hadnt told her we were dating and she use to talk about him and how she missed him cos he was a cool kid and that she memorized his phone number and everything that they have done sexually.. but this was before i told her we were dating but she brought him up a lot. then once she knew we were dating everything i told her i was going to do she would ask if he was going with me or random questions like can he drive now and oh i dont remember him having a car.. it just made me uncomfortble. it still bugs me every now and then when i see her and when im with him i think about them. we will be together and somethings i think they've done the exact same thing and i wonder who is better and this and that. also he will want me to do something, he will ask why and he will be like cos it feels so good and its kinda like wow ok other girls have done this before inclusing my friend and kinda turns me off in a way. i had a dream that the three of us were in the car.. my boyfriend driving and my friend in the passenger seat and i was in back. they were having a good time laughing, singing, and blasting music while i was in the back of the car being ignored the whole time. but seriously, what should i do in this situation? for me honestly, knowing that my friend did stuff with my boyfriend in the past upsets me and i dont know how to move on from it. i have dreams like this every once in a while

My whale dream...What does it mean? First I saw my ship from my years of being in the Navy. Then I saw a whale swimming next to it. I realized that I was swimming next to the whale and we were making the whale noises. I think that I've probably had hundreds of Navy dreams since being out (93). How to find volunteer actors to start up an acting team? What is the best way to start up and acting team? I am eager to find volunteer telented people, willing to teach/learn acting skills while creating an experimental acting team. They must be natural, able to read, write, memorize, and improvise. They will also need to have very creative mind to write or contribute to a play, and not willing to request a payment until a team is officially set and operating as an organization. I have recurring dreams about my friend I lost...? I've been having recurring dreams and thoughts in my daily life about how I might've hurt someone I used to associate with. I'm 20. I lost 8 of my best friends last year due to a minor break-up with 1 and since then all I can think about is how "He won." In my dreams, he is still there like we were hanging out only my crew is backing him and they go "where he goes". I look at my friends who I've known longer, and grew up with, and they are only accompanying me because I am with the 1 friend who I "broke up with." Bear with me, it's just I thought I'd be happier and live longer if I wasn't part of their immature group anymore. When I told him I didn't want to be his friend due to reasons I had on my own, he said he was pissed, and sooner or later my friends who met him once followed suit and defended him. Ever since then (about 3 months) I've been having recurring dreams of his friendship and it hurts.... I guess ever a problem the appropriate questions to ask are: How is this effecting me? What can I do about it? What will happen if I let it go for too long? Well.... I feel like every night I dream about this friend of mine I wake up and I feel dull inside.... not suicidle or regretful... just dull... that I still "dream" about him. I get up and shower and make way for my day knowing I had just dreamt about him. On days that I do my own routine I often get mistaken for thinking about him while trying to relate to something else... for instance, if I'm having a conversation, I will suddenly memorize that incident happening with my lost friend. And third.... I feel like these thoughts and dreams are bringing me down and I'd just like to let go like I planned when I ended the friendship but these thoughts and dreams of him are still lingering. Dreams of sexing a vampire? Vampire Dreams The Dream I have recently Meaning_ Oct/2/2008, started a new dream of some sort of vampire demon who wants me physically and mentally. I am trapped in a house full of them. During the day they are quite pleasant but I still have a fear of them. At night everyone gets prepared for sleep. I don’t know if there are any mortals in this 2-story house besides me. The vampires look amazing but when they get extremely mad their faces and bodies sort of morphs to a brownish color, sharp skin. The vampire I belong to takes me to the room every night and we have the greatest lovemaking I could ever feel. I actually feel this while I am sleeping physically and dreaming it. I always try to escape during the day and they catch me. I never get punished but they put the fear in me. The Reality Now when I woke up after that dream I automatically started thinking about this guy who I use to be in love with. It’s a crazy story but basically I lost virginity to him and after that we had sex twice. Then I moved a thousand miles away. I came back like a month ago to Miami and two weeks after I was here. We had sex. I have never ever had sex with anyone besides him. Even when I was gone a whole year. We both have our personal lives..He plays basketball for a university and I’m working at the time. Help me!I really need someone to interpret my dreams!? I had just finished my examination about last month ago. It will determine whether I’m going to university or not. Though I had done my best in it, I still don’t confident with my answers. This lead to several dreams that I had experienced after finished the examination. The first dream: I was in the examination hall doing my English paper. When I wanted to pass my paper to the invigilator, someone (a man) watching me and warning me to not pass my paper (somehow that I also don’t know that he wanted me to that thing). Then I get out from the hall and suddenly I was at my old school’s cafeteria running away from. He was still following me. I didn’t have any choices left except to throw my answer paper into the bin. Then I went back home pretending to the man that I didn’t send my paper. After that suddenly, I was at that cafeteria with my friends in order to find my paper back. We looked into the bin my paper was gone. I asked the canteen operator and him/she told me that all the rubbish was sent to the garbage disposal site. My friends and I search all the rubbish and during the time I could see other students paper too (if I was no wrong). Suddenly there was a person who told me that someone had already sent my paper to the marker to be mark and I felt such a relief. Then I woke up. The second dream: I was in my class with all my classmates studying Chemistry subject before we were allowed to enter the examination hall. I was very busy and I took all of my chemistry book that I got to read. I tried to memorize the steps, method and anything related to it. Then my friend told me that we should enter the hall now. I opened the pages quickly and take a quick looked in it and memorize it. Then my friend pulled my hands to go to the hall and I said to them that I was not ready yet. When the examination started, I could not answer anything and I looked everyone were doing their paper hardly like they know the answer. When I started to cry, I woke up. The third dream: I was sitting an Additional Mathematics examination. I couldn’t do it even to apply the formula. I started to cry when I saw everyone were doing their own paper diligently. How to Act like Goneril in King Lear? I'm using A monologue from King Lear (Goneril, Act one scene three) to audition for Hermia in A Midsummer Night's Dream. can dreams be defined? Can dreams be defined? I had a dream that someone of a higher power force me to cover every inch of the world using my thumb print. I get other ones where I see a great big wall soaring all the way to the sky and around me that has every person name alive. Some reason i tried to memorize all the names. Why are you so obsessed with celebrities? It's been the number one people care about since forever. Celebrity gossip. I honestly think celebrities are the worst people to look up to because they have more money than anyone can dream on and they spend it on overpriced clothing instead of feeding the starving children around the world or funding it in the research for cancer. A lot of people would rather forget about their own lives and just chat all day about the latest in People Magazine. I don't get it. In my dream i dreamt a police officer was doing locker checks... and he only made the girls go show him their lockers... then we locked our stuff back up an he had memorized which lockers had purses and then told the "bad guys" which ones to go through... but my nightmare felt so real even my heart rate was up and i was actually hyperventilating in my dream, does it mean anything? the contents in my purse is like my life!!! i dunno what id do with out it!

What are some careers that involve Greek Mythology? I absolutely love learning about Ancient Greek gods and goddesses (and other mythical characters such as the minotaur, centaurs, etc...). any career involving studying them or learning about them would be fantastic. I would rather not teach about it however....im not a very good public speaker. Monologue for an audition for a talent agency? Ever since I can remember, I've had a dream to become an actor but was always afraid of what everyone else would think or that they would laugh at me (and not because I was telling a funny joke). I've had two dreams two nights in a row involving gruesome deaths of strangers? Kind of long to read? In the first dream, someone is in charge and has workers with white lab coats forcing everyone in the community in line (literally going into their homes and forcing them, if they didn’t follow they’d be killed). We are all going through this line, being asked if we had an ID. If we didn’t have the ID, we’d be put into another line (pretty much everyone didn’t have an ID). Somehow, I opened a locker and put on a white lab coat that I knew (in the dream) used to be my dad’s. That way, I bypassed the line and followed others with white lab coats. I came to a room, where I had help getting up on a table and figuring out some kind of locking mechanism all I remember is trying to memorize how to open it if it was dark (I even remember it’s pattern). The leader soon approaches me, along his way asking random lab coat people for their IDs. Then he comes to me, and asks me for my ID – without knowing what would happen, I reach into my pocket and pull out an ID that reads my father’s name. Luckily, I pull it out with my thumb over his picture. “Very good” said the leader. After this, I run out and see long lines of people (many are old), I can hear music, I can smell dead bodies, and I know that on the other side where the music is coming from everyone is being burned alive. In the dream I am somewhat calm, and am thinking of ways to help people. I even make a call to my dad, and he is safe somewhere – nothing of the sort is happening where he is. In the second dream, I am at a party along with my two brothers, their girlfriends, and others. One guy is drunk and gets up and starts to dance and someone falls to a REALLY gruesome death. His leg is mangled, bone is sticking out, blood is everywhere. For some reason, they all (besides me, it’s almost like I wasn’t really there) they decide to pick up/drag his body outside and throw it onto a bush. Someone decides that’s not a good place, and they pick him up again (but now a big chunk of the bush is sticking out of his torso) and they throw him behind a tree. Later that night, I drive up to the area along with someone else (who I don’t know). The moment we get out of the car I can smell the dead body (literally, I can smell it in my dream) and approach the tree – but there are police and police tape all around. I walk by.

strange dream control? okay i used to cruise around in my car alot...it was like smoking i hated it but i couldnt stop to stop my addiction i sat in my car in my driveway and turn on my radio and just sat there pretending to drive when i really drive i waste gas and drving in the same route so lately ive been sitting in my car that is off and having the radio on and i will close my eyes and imagine me doing my daily cruise in my head id imagine myself going through the same streets because i memorized my area and i would check out imaginary girls on stop at stop signs i enjoyed this and it kepts me from wasting gas after a could days of closing my eyes and thinking of driving i had a dream in my bed that i was drving again i noticed i was dreaming in my dream and that had never happpend to me..so i took control of what i was dreaming but i did not wake myself up later on i started controling my dreams every night and id stop dreaming about driving anf went to my other fanticies its the best feelinf but im am thinging something happened to my brain because i dont believe you can actually know that your dreaming and take control but i can like last night i feel asleep and i dreamed that i went back to school and i was doing everything i wanted in real life...im creeped is this normal and yes im having dreams about sex now

¿How does this sound? When I'm dreaming, I've always wondered what would happen if I went to a library and opened a book I've never read. If I opened that book, memorized some of the lines, and woke up later, would the lines be the same in real life as in the dream? I think about this sometimes, but I can never get myself to do that in a dream...Why is that? Also, when you're dreaming, why don't you ever know it's a dream? How do you know you love someone other than your family? i like this guy, and he says he loves me, but i don't know if i love him. i like him a lot. i dream about him, think about him 24/7, and get butterflies in my stomach every time i see him, and i've memorized all of his love letters to me, but how do i know if i love him or not?
