  1. Tire it out during the day, like take it on a nice run, to drain that energy. Your pup would love something like that, and sleep like a baby.
  2. Give them plenty of exercise. Take them for a long walk in the evening.
  3. Well for one thing you don't pamper it. When its bed time, you designate an area where it is going to sleep, and you put it there to sleep. Since it's a pup, I'm assuming it is not housebroken so you will want to designate an area that is easy to clean up, like maybe a tile laundry room, bathroom or kitchen. Put down some pee pads for it to use during the night, and put a bed in there with a toy or two maybe a radio with some soft music and a piece of clothing with your scent one it, and a cuddly stuffed toy. Close the door, turn off the light and say good night. He will put up a fuss with crying, and it will tear your heart out but don't give in to his crys. Get some ear plugs and use them but don't go in and pick him up or anything. After about an hour or so, he should quiet down and go to sleep. it will get better as the days go on.
  4. You could try a hot water bottle wrapped in a blanket and a clock. The warmth and noise reminds the pup of its mother and siblings.
  5. It would be best to get a crate for it to sleep in. During the day, puppys have so much energy! Play fetch, take it on walks, and play with your pupuppy. Remember to give your new puppy lots of love too!Crates are best for sleeping, so if you get one make sure it's nice and cozy for your puppy. Then put it in a room by itsself in the crate and turn the lights off. This way your puppy will get used to sleeping alone. Good luck!!!
