- deathcore
- all labels are absolute crap now there's no way you can look at them bands label themselves on how they want to be seen when most of the times now they aren't actual that type of music I prefer black metal extreme metal is a waste of music that some band just came up with to make themselves sound cooler hardcore metal is probably the same thing, but there's black metal out there that is harder and faster then hardcore really, just listen to bands you like, who the hell cares about labels
- You would probably say Death Metal or Deathcore are the hardest genres, there are so many but some bands get confused across genres personally i think Heavy Metal/Trash Metal is the best Metal Genre, but from what i know it's Death Metal/Deathcore
- I'm not a metal fan, but...I am from Norway. Check out any Norwegian metal band, those cats don't mess around.
- I really hate metal music and metal bands but one of my friends told me that the black metal is the hardest type of metal.
- I don't know what you mean by hardest , but if u want noise , listen to new metal and core stuff , since its just noise and dont relate to any kind of art or music or even metal. however if you mean by hardest as tough with respect to music art then yah its black metal and also few Orthodox black metal and death metal.
- Depends on what you mean by 'hard', man. There's heaviness, and there's speed/intensity. If I had to choose just one genre to finger as the 'most hardest of hard things'....I couldn't. It be between the more extreme examples of Black Metal, and Death Metal. (I distrust any genre with the word 'core' in its name, so I'm not going to get into the hair-splitting of differentiating death metal from "deathcore". Personally I'm waiting for a band to come out that calls itself "Corecore". Wouldn't that' just be the shit? X D ) In any case, I think it comes down more to the individual band than the genre, personally...and I can't think of any band (beyond the idiots who get off on seeing just how loud/obnoxiously stupidly fast they can get their music with no concern over the quality(they all just end up sounding like Anal C*nt anyway) that achieves "EXTREEEEME!" more intensely than Meshuggah. Meshuggah is death metal, make no mistake, but I'm not entirely ready to finger death metal as 'teh hardest' by any means. Meshuggah is one of the few death metal bands left that still sounds fresh, whereas in the arena of black metal, the talent seems more evenly spread. A pair of links for those unfamiliar with Meshuggah: Bleed, from the album "Obzen" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qc98u-eGzlc Future Breed Machine, from the album "Destroy Erase Improve" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vOd-T58qHLA&feature=related I'll entertain an argument for someone somewhere being heavier/faster instrumentally....but Jens Kidman's vocals...no one comes close to that stuff. As far as heaviest, I'd have to go with Godflesh....but they're slow as all hell (in a fantastic way)....so that may not constitute 'hard' for most folks. I'll toss out two examples of them for folks....be warned the first one isn't exactly them at their "heaviest". Godflesh - Flowers http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGigt6kIcqs Godflesh - Christbait Late 80s...and it's still heavier and more devastating than 99 percent of modern "EXTREEEEEME!!!Core metalkor CORE HARDadamantiumCORECORECORE" music I've heard. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nW4O34H4OKo Like I said, fast they _ain't_, but....thought I'd toss em' in. Give it a listen. Edit: No good will come of this, but....I thought I'd add what I consider the most "extreme" music, period to this pot..as in, beyond metal. As a warning....this music will do damage to your speakers if you play it too loud. You will also likely hate this, and after 15 seconds, cuss loudly and turn it off. Personally I love it, but it took me _a while_ to develop an ear for it, so I'm not trying to be Mr. Hoighty Toighty, really. - well good sir. you got your extreme metal bands which cover the sub genres of metal: black metal, death metal, funeral doom, viking metal, folk metal.thrash metal extreme metal is the heaveist form of metal.but out of the extreme metal bands the heaviest is the death metal and black metal. black metal http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnbGwZPmzL8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jcJXac9Ofpc death metal http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6nrglujp1U http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V2d44qWuOl0 so now you can decide.
