  1. i used to love it, but after i got 20th and over im now into trance and techno
  2. I like the music but I don't care for the screaming.
  3. It is rare, but not unheard of. I think that a deep love for the stuff is rare. If you love Sepultura then you are unique.
  4. no, there are alot more than a "few" girls that like metal i promise.

  11. my aunt is 61 and loves metal. her favorites are Metallica (pre St. Anger), Pantera, and White Zombie. my friend's grandmother (she's 83 or so) goes with him to metal shows because she loves the music. i love metal as well, but.... 1. i'm a guy and 2. i'm not a teenager anymore
  12. I am a lot older than you are...I love Metal and the harder rock varieties...and I have forever. My parents used to listen to Steppenwolf, The Eagles, Ted Nugent and people like that. I personally consider that mellow rock. I think my first TRUE experience with hard rock or what they called metal in the eighties was Iron Maiden and Judas Priest. I think I was in 5th grade the first time I heard Metallica. Back then they did not play Metallica on the radio AT ALL... it was considered TOO HARD. I do not think it is strange for a girl your age to like that style of music at all. You are listening to music you like and that is all that matters. In high school I listened to some butt rock ( hair bands) but I really got into Megadeth, Sepultura,Pantera, Slayer and of course Metallica. I have a daughter who is only 3 years younger than you and I still dig the harder music. You know Avenged Sevenfold, Stone Sour...Disturbed (seen them 3 times in concert) I do have a very well rounded taste in music now. I love all kinds of music. Keep listening to what you like and don't fall into a mainstream category that judges you by what music you listen to.
